The Swiss Hotel Management School is situated in the heart of Europe. Created in 1992, SHMS enjoys an excellent reputation training future professionals using the traditions of Swiss Hospitality & Business Management. Courses focus on Operations Management, Events or Resort and Spa Management.

SHMS is one of the founding members of SEG, the Swiss Education Group which since 2012 also includes a school focusing on Culinary.

The Culinary Institute Switzerland,  prepares students for careers in the world of gastronomy. The programmes offered are from certificate, higher diploma and a Bachelor level in culinary, focusing on the skills and practices required in both operational and management areas.  The state-of-the-art facilities are located at campuses in both the German and French-speaking regions of Switzerland.

The Swiss Hotel Management School stays true to tradition and training excellence focusing on the practical aspects of hotel management in order to meet the requirements of the principle operators in the business. All courses are offered in English.

Accommodation: Students at SHMS are offered a choice of accommodation options in both double and single configuration. Includedin a students’ fees is accommodation in a double-standard room; A supplementary fee is payable for all other roomcategories which are distributed on a first come, first served basis and can only be confirmed on reception of full student fees.

Linen and towels are provided for students and rooms are cleaned once per week by the housekeeping team. Like in a Hotel!

Meals: All meals are included in students’ fees: Monday to Friday 3 daily meals are served and at weekends a brunch buffet and dinner. Students are able to choose from a range of dining options on each of our campuses.

Sports & Leisure:All campuses benefit from their own sports facilities such as a gym plus their own bar and nightclub. Furthermore, SHMS school organizes professional visits and leisure excursions.
