The 8th All-Kazakhstan International Education Fair is a leading event for students, including undergraduates and postgraduates, who are interested in studying abroad. The event will take place in Almaty, Astana, Atyrau and a new location, Aktau, in Kazakhstan, in February 2011.
The fairs offers an excellent opportunity for recruiters to tap into Kazakhstan's student market and gain access to a large number of potential applicants.
Many institutions from countries around the world participated in the fair held in 2010, and more than 2,500 visitors attended the fairs in the first two cities of Kazakhstan alone.
There has been a growing interest in Kazakhstan for postgraduate, business, and economic programmes. Almaty is a good market for economics and business management programmes, while Astana attracts students who have an interest in law and political programmes.
Rapid economic and social development of Kazakhstan has resulted in an acute need for a workforce with advanced Western education. This important factor contributes highly to the popularity of overseas education, particularly in the English-speaking countries.
As prices for higher education in Kazakhstan rapidly approach Western levels, many parents are looking at educational destinations overseas for their children. This makes the All-Kazakhstan International Education Fair an ideal place for educational institutions to recruit potential students.
