Irina Tchirkova was born in Novosibirsk, West Siberia, Russia. At 22 she graduated with a BA in English and German from the Pedagogical Institute (Teacher Training University) in Novosibirsk. After working at Hobsons Plc, where Irina was responsible for marketing and student recruitment for more than 120 international education clients, Irina got to work on Studycentral and its divisions. Craig graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Economics at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2003 and has since worked in the education sector delivering solutions to enable education providers to reach high-calibre students. Craig began his professional career at Hobsons Plc where he became a Senior Production Editor, working on many of their international print and website publications. Seeing the increasing need for reliable information on leading education fairs, Craig together with Irina established Studycentral.

Paul started his professional career as a client manager working within the IT industry, dealing with large corporate and central government organisations. Rising to client Director, Paul ran his own department of 30 staff, looking after one large central government department.
Following his success in IT relationship management, Paul decided to have a career change to follow his lifelong interest in military history. Paul graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in History and War Studies at University of Wolverhampton in 2004. He then spent an initial period working in a secondary school before embarking on the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP) qualification. He has 3 children and one granddaughter and is an Officer in the Army Cadet Force, volunteering his time supporting the aspirations of young people.

Stacey graduated with a BA (Hons) in Multi-Media Journalism at Bournemouth University in 2002. Since then, he has worked as an editor and journalist across numerous publications and sectors, both in print and online.
Stacey began his professional career in the education sector, where he worked as an editor at Hobsons PLC on the company's international education publications. These were aimed at international students wishing to study undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including MBAs and law degrees.
He has also worked for national newspaper Metro and its website, Metro.co.uk, technology magazine Installation Europe, contract publisher Seven Squared on marketing materials for Sainsbury's, and the London Development Agency.
