SALES EXECUTIVE

We make it possible for recruiters to reach high-achieving students by identifying educational fairs in new and established recruitment markets worldwide. This exciting opportunity is to further promote educational ties and deliver the best possible service to potential, new and existing clients with outstanding follow up and continued customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out measures to promote sales and reach targets
- Welcoming, advising, calling on and supporting customers
- Establishing new business
- Developing long term relationships
- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
- Liaising with delivery and reporting to the director
Essential Skills:
- At least two years previous telephone sales experience as well as marketing expertise within a busy and varied environment
- Building long-term relationships with clients from the UK and abroad via telephone calls, emails and work at all levels to deliver a bespoke service to each client as required
- Negotiating the terms of agreements and closing sales
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to supervisor, or entering into a computer system
- Liaising with Customer Service to check on the progress of existing orders to make sure that all clients requirements are met
- Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process that is largely dictated by the prospective customer
- Feeding future buying trends back to the team in order to foresee any changes which needed to be undertaken in product development
- Knowledge of how the higher education system in the UK and overseas works is an advantage
- Work well with international clients of various cultures and mentalities
- Experience working with CRM (Customer Relations Management) systems
- Excellent IT skills, written and spoken English and high attention to detail
- A foreign language skill (particularly French, Italian or Spanish) would be an advantage
- Flexibility to travel internationally
- Self-motivated, hard worker who will take responsibility
- Strong persuasive skills
- Confident and enthusiastic
- Highly organised and adaptable
- Full UK driver’s license
You will be tenacious, ambitious, and enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate your wish to succeed within this rolThis role has huge potential and would suit somebody who has a keen interest in progression to a management position. Internal and external training will be given on all aspects of the role. Salary basic £14k - £15k doe and a generous bonus scheme dependent on results.
