The Masters Fair in the Netherlands 2012

Please click on the image to view a larger version

The Masters Fair is the leading postgraduate event in the Netherlands, with most of the Dutch students in attendance looking for a suitable Masters degree programme, including MBA qualifications. This Masterbeurs edition will be expanded to include offerings from exhibitors providing internships abroad and language schools. (In the Netherlands almost every student has to do a internship for 6 months).

Dutch highly-educated students are becoming more internationally oriented every year and is why the international section of the fair continues to grow. The result is that visitors are more focussed on study abroad and internships abroad.

We are very proud that we can present to you an education fair with important added value for both visitors as exhibitors. The fair will take place in Utrecht, the Netherlands, in February 2012.

Event participants

All Dutch universities are present at the Masterbeurs, also known as the Masters Fair. Numerous foreign colleges, universities and MBA schools also attend to present their Masters programmes to visitors.

Along with recruiting students to study programmes, exhibitors can choose to give a Masters class to an audience of ardent students about a Masters topic chosen by them. Classes are limited to a maximum of 45 participants, and create an excellent opportunity to have one-on-one time with interested undergraduates.

Media campaign

Multimedia publishing company Telegraaf Media Group is collaborating with the Masterbeurs to create a national and segmented mass-media campaign for the fair.

The Masterbeurs will run simultaneously with the spring edition of the 'Careerevent', although the entrances to each fair are separate to avoid any confusion.

It is our opinion that having a booth at the Masterbeurs is one of the most effective ways to get in contact with Dutch students who are looking to do a study abroad. The overall experience exceeded our expectations.

Remco Roest, Director
Eduglobe, USA

Masterbeurs fair offers UK institutions the perfect opportunity to meet with a very high number of focussed, well researched and highly motivated Dutch students and is a fantastic event to attend.

Dan Barcroft, Senior student recruitment officer
University of Reading

I was impressed by the professional set-up of the Masterbeurs . Everything was well organized. The quantity and quality of enquirers was really good. All in all a fair worth repeating.

Stephanie Heilmann, Regional Office Western Europe
