The International Education Fair in Pristina, organised for the 5th time, is a unique event where all education institutions can present their programmes and courses to an audience of students from across Kosovo.
This important international student fair for the education sector was attended by a considerable number of educational institutions; universities, colleges and schools from Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia. This year the international fair is aiming to broaden its horizons and attract exhibitors from further afield who are interested to meet students in Pristina and across Kosovo. The fair has developed a large amount of interest from pupils, parents and students to exhibitors.
Kosovo is at a new stage of transition affecting all areas of life. The education sector is also undergoing rapid development to meet the demands of an all-inclusive system. Besides the public sector, which is in the process of implementing educational reforms in accordance to the Bologna Charter, the private sector is also improving. Emphasis is being made on making education more comparable to the quality of studies offered by European universities. Education is considered as one of the priorities by the government in Kosovo. Kosovo has the youngest population in Europe, who are demanding opportunities and possibilities in order to be equipped to build a modern country.
The fair was officially opened by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Enver Hoxhaj, and Mayor of Pristina, Mr. Isa Mustafa, in the presence of a large number of participants.
