International Education Fair in Georgia 2012 will present a great number of educational establishments; will offer thorough information on study opportunities in Georgia and other countries, study programs and the ways to pursue so as to fulfil all future aspirations. Studying abroad is becoming more and more popular among Georgian students, they can receive the financial support or educational loans and take opportunity to obtain valuable international experience.

International Education Fair 2012 will be a meeting place for young people to understand and to choose the field of further studies and to be informed about all necessary services provided by several financial organizations or international bodies (education and student loans, financing projects, etc. ).

International Education Fair 2012 will became the grate platform for professionals and decision-makers in the education sector to exchange their experience and know-how. The parallel events: presentations, seminars and workshops will reach the goals and aims of the exhibition.

International Education FAIR in Georgia will be organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

Student market information
  • 75,000 students are currently studying in the Georgian Higher Education System
  • There are 63 Universities in Georgia (19 State Universities and 44 Private Authorized Universities)
  • The three-level system of higher education consists of: the first level - Bachelor's degree, the second step - Master's degree, the third step - PhD
  • 34,000 university and college applicants/entrants will pass the national exams in July to study in the higher education institutions of Georgia
  • 140,190 children (X, XI, XII classes / lass 3 years) are currently studying in the Georgian secondary schools  
  • 15% of undergraduate and graduate students and senior schoolchildren in Georgia are currently looking for overseas education opportunities

The fair date is  the best time for both students and institutions according to their next step in education (the registration for university national exams in Georgia last from February to March, the national exams in last from June to July).

Applying For Visas

Most non-Georgian passport holders will need to apply for a visa to enter the Georgia. Please note you should arrange your business visa with plenty of time in advance. Tourist visas are also available and can take less time. Passport holders should contact their local consulate or embassy for advice. Visa support is strictly limited to our exhibiting clients. Visa support is NOT provided to visitors.
