De Masterbeurs - Masters fair in the Netherlands

The Masterbeurs is the biggest Masters event in the Netherlands. This fair provides the chance of a lifetime to meet students during a crucial orientation period in the academic year. Most of the Dutch students at the Masterbeurs are looking for a Masters degree programme.

Time and time again, studies have shown that undergraduate students studying for their bachelor’s degree and students entering university have a great need for information regarding Masters degree programmes and courses.

The Masters Fair (de Masterbeurs) fulfills this need and is the only fair simultaneously attended by all Dutch universities and numerous foreign colleges, universities and MBA schools presenting their Masters programmes at the Masters Fair in the Netherlands.

The Masters Fair will run simultaneously with the Spring Edition of the 'Careerevent', although the entrance to the Careerevent is kept separate from the entrance to the Masters Fair. This ensures that the visiting students to the Masters Fair are interested in learning about Masters degrees.

The Masters Fair is the place for educational institutes to make one-to-one contact with bachelor students who are interested in following a Masters degree. Additionally, the fair provides an excellent opportunity to present the Masters on offer at your university or college of higher education, to reinforce the image of your institution as well as to directly inform and recruit students.

Visitors to the Masters Fair have the opportunity to register for the fair in advance via the Internet or register digitally at the fair itself. When registering for the fair, participants will provide their personal information such as name, address and course. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to scan visitors’ information with a mobile scanner, which can be ordered seperately, so the exhibitors can focus on recruiting more students during their time at the education fair. In addition, exhibitors can choose to give a Masters class to an audience of ardent students about a Masters topic chosen by them. The classes are limited to a maximum of 45 select participants. This is an excellent opportunity to have some one-on-one time with interested undergraduates.

The Masterbeurs:
  • Offers a broad range of domestic and foreign Masters degree programmes;
  • Boasts a mass media-based approach to a national and segmented campaign supported by multimedia publishing company Telegraaf Media Group;
  • Is particularly suited to your branding and recruitment goals;
  • Provides substantive insight through special Masters classes for students.

'I met some good and very qualified students at the Masterbeurs. I definitely think it’s very useful for our university to be here'

'It is our opinion that having a booth at the Masterbeurs is one of the most affective ways to get in contact with Dutch students who are looking to do a study abroad. The overall experience exceeded our expectations!'
