The Days of International Education

Please click on the image to view a larger version

'The Days of International Education', in the Baltics, combines student fairs with education workshops. This is a free access public educational event allowing visitors to get acquainted with the student fair’s participants; their courses and programmes and to take enrolments. On the other hand, education providers have the opportunity to meet and support their education agents, the Baltic Council and to establish new contacts.

During the last several years the Baltic States (Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania) have become more attractive for education providers from all over the world. This is not a casual interest, but a developing tendency proving that the potential and demand for educational industry abroad in the Baltic region is very high.

'The Days of International Education' has been successful during the previous 5 years with a growing number of participants and a strong presence of institutions in 2009 (30 in 2005, 42 in 2006, 49 in 2007, 55 in 2008, 51 in 2009) presenting their programmes and services. We are all convinced, that the potential for the development of the education industry abroad is very high in the Baltics and the demand for quality programmes will continue to grow. The organisers are grateful to all the participants of the last fairs, who admitted that only by applying common efforts, they will be able to promote the best institutions and programmes ensuring quality is maintained.
