You are warmly invited to participate at the 8th International Fair "Education Abroad – Step to the Future!” The Fair will take place in February 2012 in Ekaterinburg and Perm.

The Ural Region is an important and significant part of Russia. Ekaterinburg is the capital of the Ural Federal District, which covers an area of about 2 million sq. km. The territory possesses the main oil and gas fields in Russia, and the richest deposits of iron and polymetallic ores. The world largest metallurgical enterprises are located in the Urals, concentrating here in Ekaterinburg because of the great industrial and intellectual potential. Sverdlovsk region is one of the most developed and advanced regions in Russia. It is situated far from ethnic conflict areas and is politically stable.

Ekaterinburg houses General Consulates of USA, UK, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Bulgaria and Hungary, as well as diplomatic representatives of many other countries.  You can easily reach our city by most foreign air-companies. For example, Lufthansa flies regularly from Frankfurt, Czech Airlines from Prague and FinAir from Helsinki.

Each year we send several hundred students to study in more than 20 countries of the world, in close collaboration with our partner organizations.

Over 10,000 students and their parents from cities all over the Ural region visited this fair.  This year we expect an even greater number of both participants and visitors.
